Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or place an order, or you must have the involvement of a parent or guardian if you are younger. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.

Prices on the Site are shown in the currency of your selected region and are subject to change without notice. We make reasonable efforts to describe our products accurately, but we don't warrant that product descriptions, images, or other content are error-free. If a product you ordered was materially different from its description, contact us and we'll make it right under our Refund Policy.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock issues, and to limit quantities purchased per person or order.

Elion Rewards is our optional loyalty program. Participation, point values, tier requirements, and benefits are governed by the Elion Rewards Terms and Conditions, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Brewing equipment listed on the Site (kettles, infusers, and similar teaware) links out to third-party retailers. These are affiliate links: Elion may earn a commission if you make a purchase through them, at no additional cost to you. Elion does not sell, ship, or process payment for these items, and is not responsible for the third-party retailer's pricing, stock, shipping, returns, or product quality. Any purchase you make through an affiliate link is a transaction between you and that retailer, governed by the retailer's own terms.

Everything on the Site, including text, graphics, product photography, logos, and the Elion name and wordmark, is owned by Elion or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view, print, or download material from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or create derivative works from Site content for any commercial purpose without our written permission.

If you submit reviews, comments, or other content to us, you grant Elion a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with promoting our products. You're responsible for making sure any content you submit is accurate, isn't misleading, and doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. We may remove content at our discretion, but we don't promise to review everything that gets submitted.

Discount codes are intended for personal use by the person they were issued to. If a code is shared or published on a public coupon site, forum, or similar channel without our authorization, we may deactivate it and, where applicable, reverse any referral or affiliate compensation tied to its use.

Information on the Site, including brew guides, tasting notes, and quality evaluations, is for general educational purposes only and reflects our own internal assessments; individual experience may vary. It is not medical advice and should not be treated as such. Statements about our products have not been evaluated by Health Canada or the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Read the full label before using any Elion product, and talk to your physician before use if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition.

The Site may link to third-party websites we don't control, including affiliate retailers described above. We're not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site.

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELION AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR OUR PRODUCTS, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. NOTHING IN THIS SECTION LIMITS ANY RIGHT YOU HAVE UNDER APPLICABLE CONSUMER PROTECTION LEGISLATION THAT CANNOT BE WAIVED BY CONTRACT.

You agree to indemnify and hold Elion harmless from any claim arising from your misuse of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a dispute arises, we ask that you first contact us at hello@elionsciences.com so we can try to resolve it directly. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario. Nothing in this section affects any non-waivable right or remedy available to you as a consumer under the law of your province or territory of residence.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or your account at our discretion, including for violating these Terms, suspected fraud, or abuse of the Elion Rewards program.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

• These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Rewards Terms, are the entire agreement between you and Elion regarding the Site.
• If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remain in effect.
• Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
• You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent.
